Henne is a stop gap. He played as well as he could with the offensive "talent" we had on the roster last season. Terrible make shift o-line, injuries at the wr position along w/the Blackmon suspension, & a non existent running game. We're obviously gonna nab a qb at some point in the draft to groom.
He didn't say when tho.Shad is on record of saying we are drafting a qb or 2 even before the combine
Passed on one MULTIPLE timesAll we need is a franchise QB hopefully in this draft sign Emmanuel Sanders and we gon be eating soon brehs
Is that Matt Barkley and your callin him a franchise QB i believe in Shad and and Caldwell they will take us to the promised land!Passed on one MULTIPLE times

your sayin that cause your a SC fan breh i wanted them to draft Barkley last year later in the draft but the way he played this year was straight he shouldnt have stayed his senior year he prob ruined his NFL career doing thatBarkley > Anybody on that bum ass roster
He played limited snaps as a rookie, how was he supposed to look? Still looked better than gabbert.your sayin that cause your a SC fan breh i wanted them to draft Barkley last year later in the draft but the way he played this year was straight he shouldnt have stayed his senior year he prob ruined his NFL career doing that
Do we really believe that caldwell doesn't like bridgewater?
No, not at all. He was part of the braintrust that took Matt Ryan, another extremely cerebral, very high football IQ QB with a ton of offensive responsibility and starting experience in college. Also like Ryan, Bridgewater's game isn't built around elite measurables/physical tools. It's built on great decision making and dedicated film study. The kid knows how to run a pro offense as he's been taught how to since his very first practice at Louisville. So no, I think any Caldwell talk of not taking him is purely a thinly veiled attempt at a smokescreen. Bridgewater's clearly the best QB in this class, and if he's there at 3, we would be remiss not to take him.
