Maurice Jones-Drew's days with the Jaguars seem over.

If the Toby Gerhart signing wasn't a strong enough indication, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Wednesday that he hasn't talked to general manager Dave Caldwell about Jones-Drew in nearly a week.

"I haven't had really much conversation with Dave about Mojo," Bradley said. "I know before this, we talked and he knows how I feel about him. I really appreciate MoJo and what he brought, but I haven't had any conversation about MoJo for the last four-or-five days, six days."

Checking in. So damn happy Gabbert's off the squad. Yeah, it looks like MJD's time here is up. Sad that his prime (along with countless others) was wasted with the braintrust of JDR, Gene Smith, and Garrard. But we move forward.

Love the "clean house and build the roster the way we want it" approach Caldwell and Bradley have taken these first two offseasons. Love the Zane Beadles signing as the interior OL was definitely the weakest point on that front last year. Uche has been average at best his whole career (damn I miss the Vince Manuwai/prime Meester/Chris Naeole days) so us letting him walk + immediately signing his replacement shows a real commitment to getting better there. Building the lines isn't sexy and won't get you headlines, but it will get you wins.

Just bring Blackmon back, continue to make the smart and calculating moves we've made since Caldwell has gotten here, & we have a shot to win the division this season

:whoa: I don't know about all that, but I think we can definitely compete for a wildcard spot, even with Henne holding down the QB spot. The AFC is weak as shyt; Exhibit A: The Super Bowl. Our division is terrible though. I can't be the only one that thinks the Colts REALLY aren't that nice. Like at all. Them nikkas was a historical Chiefs collapse (and Jamaal Charles getting hurt) from a historical playoff ass whoopin - AT HOME. The boy Luck throws picks like candy, Bethea, who's been the unsung hero of that defense for years, just walked, and Mathis is the only other dude on that side of the ball that matters.

Blaine for a 6th is blah. This fool said he wanted to "build around" henne. Last year he wanted to build around gabbert. He has no idea wtf he is doing. We will suck again this year, I dont trust him.

Henne is some trash. Ya'll overpaid for him.

Henne is a stop gap. He played as well as he could with the offensive "talent" we had on the roster last season. Terrible make shift o-line, injuries at the wr position along w/the Blackmon suspension, & a non existent running game. We're obviously gonna nab a qb at some point in the draft to groom.
