Really mj contributed more to to the advancement of black folks than almost anyone else in the past 30 yearz. This is what I mean when I say most of you guys are too young to know. Mj blew up at a time when racism was way more out in the open. He literally made it culturally acceptable and normal for white people to genuinely like black folks. And he did A LOT directly to help black folks. Like how he use to bus kids in from south central and watts every month to spend a day at neverland on his own dime just for starters. Never heard about that on the news either.
He had his personal issues but I dont think he hated his race. Maybe himself as a person but I don't think it had anything to do with his race. And some of y'all need to step outside the house and smoke a bowl or something. Getting all heated over this shyt....
I don't think anyone in this thread is disputing the fact that MJ did a lot of great things. - As stated SEVERAL TIMES, vitiligo did not force the dude to cleft his chin, sharpen his nose, and generally change his entire facial features to completely abandon his negro features in favor of white features. A black man who has love for himself and his people wouldn't do this. He saw European beauty as true beauty and modeled himself after it, and it doesn't get anymore c00nish than that.

I would argue that there is no artist in the history of black entertainment who has such astounding c00n credentials, and this is coming from someone who LOVES Michael Jackson. Not LOVED....LOVES. By the way, I never said MJ was born a c00n. Most of the time it is the result of black's being conditioned from the start to feel inferior to whites due to mass media. From my observations and experiences, not becoming a c00n is mainly up to strong self-education, great parenting/family values that reinforce the pride and beauty of your culture as well as successful and progressive interaction with your own kind.
In the case of MJ, I've heard it's Joe Jackson's constant shytting on MJ's big nose and other negro features that planted that "black ain't beautiful" seed at an early age. Sucks.

Yeah, dude is trippin. MJ is the reason black artists are mainstream. He literally kicked down the door for black artists by getting his Billy Jean video on MTV. He showed nikkas how to take their solo career (athletes included) and become a mogul. The only c00ns in this thread are the people that overlook the impact of his accomplishments.
