Jack Johnson agreed to fight middleweight (and friend) Stanley Ketchel...basically just to make money. Both agreed to take it easy but in the 12th, Ketchel got brave and tried to knock Johnson out.

Jack Jhonson was a great in many aspects, but I'm not going to put him on a pedestal when he married a white woman three different times and had a pompous attitude towards other black people. There are many other great black men in history. We just had a thread calling out the swirling commercials and what not. I don't have a problem calling out black women that have a "tendency" to date non black men regardless of what they do for their community, so I don't have a problem calling out a black man who has a "tendency" to date non black women.

Reminds me of some famous black people. Racism against black people tend to matter when it's affecting them. Yeah they do nice things for black people here and there, but when they get their nikka moment it's when they remember that they are black.
