His last good album was the mirror and it went unreleased. Everything else's he's released since then has been abysmal aside from that one track with Ashanti. VVV, Rule 336 and Pain is Love are all fukking dope albums. Ja had a great 3 album run. I enjoyed Last Temptation and blood in my eye and there was a few good songs on Rule. The last I heard from him was his last album, PIL2. Found it disappointing, listened to it a few times then that was it.
Saying that I will always support Ja, he a cool nikka.

As long as he has the right beats I don’t see how he can miss

His pen always been sharp so even if he slips it comes back with practice.

And he makes his money off hooks and melodies.

Even if he ain’t a hook master any more they come a dime a dozen thanks to the current climate.

No reason he shouldn’t give us a solid project.
