This young man had both parents, came from a loving home and had a full sized basketball court in the backyard.

I don't see how anyone can take what Ja said as street talk. This ain't nothing but basketball talk. Block = arena.

Draymond saying Champs get homecourt on Christmas while Ja responding saying it doesn't matter which court they play on, eventually the Warriors gotta come to Memphis.

Between Ja vs Draymond and JJJ vs Klay both teams are telling the NBA to "set it up" because there's some unfinished business based off how their playoff series went.

nikkas acting like they tryna shoot the fade. It's just basketball people.

Have YOU been in a bad neighborhood? You keep talking like a full court in the backyard is just a normal black experience. It’s not I honestly don’t even get the point your trying to make . It’s very low iq thinking .

What white person taught you that if you have a basketball court in your backyard that you can't be a thug? What black person in the history of black people said that?

Show me this list of amenities or achievements that means you can't be a thug, be gangster or be tough.

You grew up being influenced by black families on white television and think you know everything.

I'll never forget the random YouTube video I watched a few years ago of a black father exposing his teenage son (he didn't show the son on Camara or anything)

The father had found his son's rap lyric notepad and it contained nothing but references to violence and an overall life he didn't remotely live.

This kid came from a positive, 2 parent, loving and hardworking environment but yet the default setting of his lyrics was street, thug ish. The father even went outside and stood completely silent for 30 seconds to show how quiet the neighborhood is :dead:

If I can ever find that video I'm going to make a whole thread on it.
.
Id be willing to bet every cent in my account that I could guess what type of music Ja Morant listens to 99% of the time. That music is injecting an extremely negative and demonic spirit inside of it's listeners

Yes, it's that deep. I see it everywhere. I FEEL it also It's mental and spiritual poison.
It is poison. Notice how the most demonic and vile rap songs always have the best beats. It’s like sorcery drawing you into the fire.

So…not being “corny” is posting self incriminating tweets to keep up appearances that you’re somehow “street”? And what is so wrong with being corny anyway? I’d rather be corny than have self incriminating tweets attached to my online personality that an employer can easily look up. And, yes, the goal should be to be as non-self incriminating as possible. Too many black men prioritize being/looking “cool” over living a simple, stable life. We need to, collectivelly, get acquainted with the concept of mediocrity. Its okay to be average.

When will y'all realize that this is just how a lot of young nikkas especially those who grew up and lived around Black ppl for most of their young lives talk in general so none of those tweets really imply or equate to what you think he's saying.

:mjlol:

Most of you dudes grew up in all white settings and can't relate or understand the point...

Y'all act like just because a nikka grew up with a whole family that they're supposed to be a carbon copy of a Carlton type from the way he dresses and talks :mjlol: you dudes really are some corny nerdy nikkas even worse than the ones I knew in school and they weren't really bad.

Me and my siblings grew up in a two parent household in which both parents had great jobs and ain't none of us grew up to be cornballs or whatever y'all think a person is supposed to be after growing up in that type of household:childplease:
Oh you’re a suburban square that acts like you’re from the hood. Got it 🤣🤣🤣

I still think it's great he's not backing down and wants a rivalry with the champs. That being said the gang/violent language is wild. That's not him. Not his background, not the life his parents (plural) created for him. Kendrick said the culture is poison and people didn't listen. The same culture that is making Ja say dumb shyt is the same culture that compels middle and even upper class black kids to act up in school, convinces them to "act black" by not taking education seriously, and results in them being left behind despite having better access to resources than the inner city kids they're trying to imitate. This shyt is killing us and needs to be addressed.

I didn't see the young dude make threats to anyone life. Sounds like how we use to talk when we played on outdoor concrete basketball courts. Talked shyt all through classes, and took it to the courts afterwards. Rims with no nets type shyt.

Nobody talks shyt anymore in basketball. AAU basketball has become soft over the years and trash talking isn't allowed. Everyone are winners in that league.
