He isn't wrong. :manny:

Everyone does a suicide dive.

Everyone does the Handstand Springboard Back Elbow/Insert other move here that Carlito started.

Everyone pretty much wrestles the same. Announcers look stupid when they comment on the athleticism of Wrestler A when Wrestler B just did the same fukking thing and they're quiet.

We've actually lost the Technician archetype. Hell Daniel Bryan used to be big on this and he ain't even fukkin' with that shyt anymore.

Exactly, you know what everyone also does now? The reverse ranna, I almost switched off NXT when Keith Lee did it against Dominik Dijakovic.

The moment I see someone in AEW put a guy in a headlock, wristlock, or toe hold and hold him down for 5 minutes..... or do that famous E spot where some how both wrestlers are laid out on the ground for 3-5 mins.

I’m done with this shyt:hhh:

Will be strictly NJPW, ROH, HOG and I’ll find a way to watch Impact:wow:

Nothing wrong with mat and rest holds when they're used effectively.

Most Okada classics have plenty of that stuff. Makes it all the better when the match picks up the pace.

Rasslin has been homogenized like basketball mostly. All these promotions have too many of the same kind of workers. Needs more lucha(real lucha not vanilla chikara bs), and uk grapplers. But that's easier said then done because everybody works everywhere and all the styles have blended.

I don't even know how they pull that move off safely. You don't even have time to prepare for the bump because you don't see it coming.

That’s moreso WWE and it’s PC and MMA has that problem too even worse

I think you can still tell a good story with high spots. The Young Bucks Vs. Lucha Bros matches each told great stories of bravado between two teams trying to one-up one another

The crazy thing about these old dudes who rail against the physical looks and wrestling style of these young guys is that they act like most of these older generation dudes had crazy muscular physiques and were great mat technicians. In reality, most of them were shapeless Greg The Hammer Valentine looking motherfukkers who did nothing beyond chop, punch, eye gouge, and body slam.

I like J.R. on commentary for AEW. There's something mildly hilarious about his old-headedness when he's clearly not totally "getting it".

The confusion is just so genuine.
