However, getting someone's chain back isn't really a feat.

Because his opponents would do a comprehensive search on his past and air out a lot of his dirty laundry. Plus they do searches on his family members, friends, if everybody in his circle isn't completely legit, they're screwed.
Or just bring up things that haven't really been spoken on out of fear.
Obviously his usual intimidation tactics wouldn't get him that far in that arena.
