She's never actually said anything hostile towards trans people or their way of life to justify labeling her a transphobe.
She just disagrees (unironically) with how they themselves are trying to label people.
The fact that they are treating a simple philosophical difference as a hate crime rather than an opportunity for a dialog is why alot of people (including former supporters such as myself) have difficulty accepting the authenticity of their belief system. This isn't her trying to pass a jim crow law against trans people. or encouraging violence against them.

Often times Trans people try to compare their activism to black civil rights activism. The main difference between the two was that our concern was with how people treated and labeled us, not with how they labeled themselves. Black people never tried to re-define how other races identify themselves. We only defined ourselves. if Trans people want to define what it means to be a woman, then all women have a right to be a part of that dialog. It's so hypocritical to shout, Trans Women are Women, Then in the same breath say Women can't talk about Trans Woman because they're not trans.

I'm not a 'former supporter' but even as someone who makes an effort to empathize and encourage a live and let live policy across the board, I'm sure there are people in that community that would call me a transphobe or a bigot because I wouldn't sign off on completely tossing the concept of biology to the wayside when it matters.

I'm never gonna actively oppose trans anything, but it's getting to the point where I'm just like

Rowling likely has resentment toward the Alphabet Mafia because she supported/pandered to them for so many years, ruining the canon and integrity of her characters only to be turned into public enemy number one for what was until recently a very mundane statement. I don't have any problem with these people having the same rights as any other citizen in this country and I can understand how you can't paint in broad strokes because the fact of the matter is, some women are born with both genitalia (it's a medical condition), some women are born with plumbing that does'nt function as biologically intended, and some women are born with super masculine features to the point where they look like men.

But they take this shyt too far because all those situations are extremely rare, probably even rarer than being born LGBTQ to be honest, so it's hard for me to take these people seriously when they claim that they're women when most of them are literally white men using their white privilege to make themselves minorities and garner support and sympathy from the greater populace.

And to channel Chris Rock...NONE of them would trade their whiteness in to be Black...EVER

And how many of them straight up support Black causes and movements without trying to shoehorn in "Black Trans Lives or "Black LGBT Lives" etc.

In fact, all qualifications equal, corporate America would likely hire a gay White man before they hired a straight Black man any day of the week, which means, as someone pointed out, a White LGBTQ person in this country has a better chance of obtaining employment at the best of the best employers than a straight Black man does, which means they have a better chance of creating and sustaining wealth, wealth that probably won't even get passed down through their family because face it, most of these people don't really want to start families nor can they for obvious reasons.

Dudes have leap frogged Black people in the social hierarchy of this country, and now want to be treated as a special class when most of the time, nobody knows if you're LGBTQ or not unless you tell them

The people you describe in the bolded are actually distinguishing themselves from trans people. and actually want them to stop using them in their arguments.

When we say Transgender, we are only referring the people who identify as a different gender than what they are biologically.
People that are both genders or have both parts are an entirely separate group politically it seems.
