he could do it for sure. I'm really excited to see how he moves going forward, a lot of people are starting to think this way about him and I hope he can capitalize and keep up the good music. hope he doesn't end up like bishop nehru.

I'll check it out off of y'alls recommendation. Any specific songs I need to see from any of them?

Hereditary

Listen to that ASAP, and watch the video

And after that, watch his freshman 10 freestyle just to see the contrast. That nikka ain’t playing. He can do it all

Except none of them are even close to Kendrick and cole
Cordae just raps like cole but he’s not half as good

Cordae is rapping exactly how Cole was when he 1st started out with the Come Up in '07. He's going to naturally evolve and mature in the way lane.

J. I. D. isn't the next Kendrick. They have two different styles and train of thought. The comparison is mainly due to both being INSANELY lyrically talented and innovative musically. But that's about it. J.I.D is going setting up his own lane.

I literally thought it was Anderson Paak on that sirens song with Denzel Curry before seeing it was jid :gucci:

He sounds too much like him but I don't think it's a bad thing. His rhyme patterns are similar to Kendricks and he sounds like Wayne on a few songs I heard.

Atlanta needs the be championing this dude...not many southern rappers with these kinds of skills comes around often.

Paak ain’t rapping like that tbh, he makes good music but his rapping is above average tbh

Denzel
Joey
Cordae
JID
6Lack

Lol true true

But you know what I mean lol. JID comes off as a country bumpkin, 6lack doesn’t. His music doesn’t really have a southern sound

It’s like Cole and KRIT. Both technically southern artist, but one sounds a lot more southern than the other

Wtf is a country bumpkin? :childplease::mjpls:

Yall gotta stop putting the South in this little box yall think we fit into. We have just as much variance in style and sound as anywhere else.

Ain't nothing "technical" about Cole being southern. If it is then Kendrick is "technically" west coast and Jay is "technically" New York. :gucci:
