Been listening all day. It has Aquemini vibration. Dirk shouldn’t have been on here. He was the worst part of the album. Wayne really had one of the best verses on the album!!!! He killed it. JID didn’t waste a bar at all.
Albums flows but damn Kodi Blu 31, just in time, and Lauder too are the only highs. I can’t explain it. It’s sequenced great but those are the only rewind moments that got me so far. Definitely gonna spin some more in the next week. Don’t know about the AOTY stuff y’all spewing but most definitely a good album

But interscope and dreamville dropped the ball for real. Enemy with Imagine dragons has over 840 million streams on Spotify JIDS next highest is 127 million. They should’ve been pushing his face at every venue they were performing at because none of their fans have picked him up. He’s doing 21k to 30k his last did 17k.

Plus that song was the theme song to a very popular netflix show.
JID is still not in the conversation or mindframe of most hip hop heads yet. This is the one to help push him there if they choose the right singles and videos. Another thing is that Cole is a heavyweight, he can't be allowing his artists to drop an album without him on it, there's probably a good amount of people who will check dreamville projects for a verse from him and he didn't deliver that
It was a mistake to let Stick go on gangsta grillz mixtape. Also J Cole should’ve been on a single for this to give it more exposure imo.

Some conversion should’ve happened. That song has been streamed over a billion times, was number 2 on the charts, and is double platinum.
I don’t know some kind of push should’ve happened. And yeah Cole should’ve for sure been on this. But it’s still a great project

JID and Earthgang's Ghetto Gods are some of the best albums that came out this year.
