After all of these years I still fail to understand the Jarrett hate. Must be one of those internet things where, even though it doesn't make any sense, since it's been a trope so long we believe it. Right up there with "get off my TV heat" (just think about that one for a minute), X-Pac heat (he was a heel the whole time, yes, even during the Invasion), and Heenan ruined the Hogan turn.

Jeff and Jerry deserve credit for starting TNA. Yea, its been dead for a while and had awful moments, but at times they put out a really good product. You put together all their good runs, and its like 3-4 years of good tv/ppv.

Just taking hin as a wrestler though? At that point anyone who had any kind of "run" should get in. Buff Bagwell should be in at that point too.

He’s a heel who legitimately gets grown ass men heated about his play fighting character

What’s not to love and consider him one of the GOAT heels?

He deserve it

NWA World Champion 6x

WCW World Heavyweight Champion 4X

He's a HOF-er based on his mid-card work until '99 however the two accomplishments quoted really need to be put into perspective and ignored.

NWA: He and his pops created their own affiliated Fed. He repeatedly put the belt on himself despite fans not wanting him to be a Main Eventer. His Reign of Terror between 2003-2006 might even be worse than Triple H's

WCW: 4 reigns totaling 58 days during the year that in the end destroyed WCW

I respect his ability to consistently finesse people into losing money on him/his ventures. He probably should be in multiple carny HOFs solely for that reason.

As an actual performer, fukk him. He makes Randy Orton look like prime Austin. So inherently boring and mediocre, he struggled to get over even when WWE attached heat magnet Owen Hart and peak Debra to him.

His stan wants to take shots at Shelton, Kofi, and MVP (:mjpls:), but if we gonna keep it a buck, all three have probably produced more quality, even in just moments, with painfully far less opportunity.

I know a lot of people on here hate him, but he's done a lot in his wrestling career. He was a big part of USWA, had a good career in WWE and WCW, and started his own company in TNA. He deserves it. It's a strange choice considering Vince called him out by name on the last Nitro, but you can't take away what Jeff has accomplished in the wrestling world.

Double J was smart enough to care about hitting the weights, otherwise he never would have made it out of Memphis.
