if you listen to the song...till the end ..he feels no regrets about any of the street shyt he did....and matter of fact this was post romper room gang era...
so he was basically LEGAL just doing the music biz thing....
his conflict is with the rap game....as he says near the end "yall can have this rap shyt"
he lost his son to a Syrup overdose...
and rappers he considered friends turned out to be snitches.....
and he lost a good friend to (dre) to murder.......
so "crime" wasnt the issue here from his perspective
