Mal like most of these internet bloggers are hot take artist.... They are the poor mans Skip Bayless in the context of hiphop culture. They have no pull nobody is lining up to get behind their "movements"...while he's sensationalizing a rather mundane moment for his own benifts (getting clicks and views that he'd never normally get) this is what's happening in the actual real world with real people regarding JCOLES listenership:

Cole will be fine, in the grand scheme of things it won't really hurt his career like that. It's too many cast of characters in hip hop who have done a whole bunch of questionable/clown shyt (some examples have already been posted in this thread) yet it doesn't really get mentioned like that. It'll be talked about for a few more weeks/months (especially considering how this Drake/Kendrick thing even goes) but it's a different era he's fine. Still gonna sell nice numbers, Dreamville Fest will still be there, career isn't over by a long shot.

I'm sorry but no one in rap history did the shyt he did :francis: this was a legendary L and will never leave his jacket, any time Drake or Kendrick do anything we remember there was a 3rd nikka who sonned himself when he was the one who set it off to begin with...

He can also never rap tough again, which is like 70% of the appeal for MC's :russ:

Whenever he'll brag he'll get the :gucci:

He's going to have to resort to being extremely conceptual. Watch his next album be like a story told from the perspective of another rapper, so that he can brag through him.

"Yo he's the MC killer, noone realer
And when his former friend dissed him he took his head off like Thriller :demonic:
I'm speaking metaphorically
Of course it isn't me
It's just an example of how wild my stories be :whoa:"

When The Fall-Off drops Cole will be fine.
When I made this post I thought he would be dropping frequently still, he hasn’t which has made the fans linger on him dropping out of the beef. As I said in my post, there’s a lot of characters in hip hop who have done questionable shyt that we either don’t mention or just bypass because they continued to drop good music. Cole being silent has more to do with that then anything, I agree with @Shadow King once the Fall Off drops, he’ll be fine. Rick Ross was a fukking CO and nikkas literally don’t care lmfao

He’s already rich. Doesn’t matter if he falls off or not.

Ross being a CO had nothing to do with rap

And even Aubrey still battled after the ghostwriters exposal

One day you gonna realize Cole broke new ground with this one, this the one thing a rapper isn't supposed to do.
