SOHH ICEY N.O.
My hubby's album is perfect, just like him.
My favorite songs so far is fire squad, then maybe wet dreams or love yours.
I liked the beats on born sinner better than the beats on this album. This album also could have been longer. Other than that .

I did listen to the leak, but I will still support him by buying his album. I hope everyone else will too.
:mjcry: hopefully we get a few bonus tracks

I'm really digging this shyt.

My knock on J. Cole was that he lacked personality and passion when he rhymes but on this you can feel his passion.
Like Rich nikkaz on born sinner could have been a classic lyrics and production wise but he didn't rap like it was one.

Fav. Joints on this are:
Intro
Jan. 28
03' adolescence
No role models
Apparently.

One thing about this is that the mixing seems kinda off. Maybe it's just the quality of the leak but I feel like he had this same problem last album, I can't quite put my finger on it :patrice: The songs sometimes sound a little muddy/quiet

I feel it was a tremendous album for them to let him make. He became popular with fans without making "singles". He famously struggled with making them thus delaying his album getting a release. Instead of them forcing him to go that route they just let him put out his project. No guest stars, no forced beats. Mixtape feel.

I listen to every track but hello. So I fukk with it.

*disclaimer I do live in Fayetteville nc but I don't know that nikka
