Felt like the hooks lacked, Cole's attempts to speed his flow are his flow leaves a lot to be desired. His storytelling ability isn't great, I like how he talked about Ferguson a bit should have went more in depth with that, I haven't heard a great quotable rhyme from him since like the Warm Up.didnt even realize their were no features. And i only skipped one song. I have to salute the big homie Cole .
Sounds like a 9/10 to me. Definitely his best project regardless. The first 5 songs after the intro are all captivating and Hello is the only weak song
Great, enjoyable concept to the album
Good, variety of content
Flows seamlessly
Beats, hooks, flows and rhymes are both extremely on point for the most part.
Album cover is dope
and no fukkin features...just samples
This is looking like a magna opus project to me. I'm very impressed. And I skipped Born Sinner because i just wasnt interested in Cole like that any more but this got me wondering if i missed out.
Buggin. Hello was a skip after 20 secs. GOMD was just okay. But to me everything else was pretty much fire. Top 3 album to me this yr and better than any of his mixtapes or albums (except for Born Sinner which I havent played).Felt like the hooks lacked, Cole's attempts to speed his flow are his flow leaves a lot to be desired. This the best production Cole ever had, GOMD and Tale of 2 Citiez were trash IMO, and Hello was corny, bland and generic.
Born Sinner is slightly better, solid 7 out of 10 album.
