I fukks with Gibbs but I don't believe the nikka ever sold a rock in his life yet he calls his album Cocaine Pinata. Authenticity has to account for something.........or at least to me it does. It's hard for me to listen to an album full of lies. At least with Cole you know he's being himself.

Drop some of Cole's quotes that caught your attention on this album. This is his 3rd album and I can't even come up with dope lines that he's dropped that made me go

It then dawned on me that Cole only does storytelling well. As far as just rappin', dude isn't doing anything special.

I actually liked Born Sinner and I'm not normally into his brand of hip hop so I will give this a chance

This is some of his best work and the production really helps

The production isn't as good as Born Sinner, and his hook game fell off a cliff.

But this is much better lyrically, and most of the production is fitting.

Not as good as his mixtapes but this his best album to me.

This was a strong album....7/10 There's nothing on here that's gonna blow you away or anything but I see this as an upgrade over his last 2 albums. Everything you come to expect from Cole is on this except its him at his peak. You either gonna love it or hate it, but if your already a fan....You can rock with it.

He might sound boring to some people and his music might not turn up in the club, but he's One of the few mainstream rappers that isn't on some minstrel show shyt. That I can appreciate....and I'm glad he addressed the white washing issue going on in rap while no other rapper would dare to touch.

I dunno breh this is gonna jump in to white dudes top three real quick, alongside Piñata and RTJ2 (both dope albums don't get me wrong). them high school whiteys lap this "deep" "conscious" rap up man


I haven't finished listening yet but whoever said this is his most cohesive album yet is absolutely right. dude definitely came focused and it sounds like he's accomplished exactly what he was trying to do. gonna have to finish it but the album is cool so far
