I've never believed in pro-athletes being under real "pressure".....

...until tonight for the Heat

Usually, it's a big game. You win or you lose. Fans might be sad, but either way, life goes on for the pro athlete quicker than you think. Like Barkley said, "If the worst thing in my life is losing a bball game, then I have a pretty great life."

The Miami Heat though, if they lose tonight(or this series), their "big 3" will probably be split up and IMO will be considered probably the biggest fail in sports history. That whole "not 1 title, not 2 titles, not 3, 4, 5, 6, 7" clip of Lebron will go down in the ultimate joke category. Him and DWade dancing at that celebration. Him and DWade shadow boxing against the Mavs last year.

The very least that will happen is Spoelstra being fired and Pat Riley taking over as head coach. Either way, there's a lot of pressure on the line for tonight. :manny:

Riley let that team down with horrible signings.

Mike Miller- 5yrs/25mil :heh:
Shane Battier - 3yr deal. He's 34..:childplease:
Joel Anthony - 6yrs/ 18mil..:deadrose:

He refuses to draft a player that can at least crack the rotation.

Except for Norris Cole, who hasn't done shyt since Christmas, there are no young players.

All he does is sign washed up vets..

The coach was not ready to coach a team like this.

This is on Riley..

It would be the biggest failure in recent NBA history, but historically it's no worse than West, Baylor and Chamberlain not being able to get a chip until Baylor retired. It might be the modern day equivalent, if they don't win it's best to split up the 3.
Not yet one more year then blow the team up, they need a new coach simply, and since they don't want to play for Riley, Riles better humble himself and get Phil to save this team, imagine Lebron running the point in the triangle...................

He let Beasley go for nothing to sign Mike Miller, that is really the biggest and most inexcusable mistake he's made.

Coming off the bench for them right now instead of Miller they'd be much harder to beat and could throw out all sorts of small lineups.

I'd trade Wade now if they don't win, he's going to be 31 next season, the season after that he'll be 32. This is the time where his value is at it's highest where you could get several good players in return for him. His decline has already started, that is why he has so many up and down games, it's cold but you gotta dump him before you're stuck with him.

College Football Pressure >>>>

I said "pro-athlete" for a reason, breh.

Not yet one more year then blow the team up,.

:beli:

What's gonna change in one more year? They simply dont have the talent to win. All their money is tied up in the big 3. They're too good to be helped by the draft and maybe not good enough to beat a real team

damn joel anthony is getting 18 mil :snoop:
yeah looking back beasly would've been a much better fit than miller. Miller look like he can barely walk anymore. Keeping it real the "big" 3 isnt the problem its the role players. When boston had the big 3 they at least had big men who could goon and rebound; and had other shooters. Nobody is scared of the role players for miami outside of chalmers.

I don't think you split the group up because Bosh hasn't played. If Bosh had been completely healthy this whole time I might have leaned the other way but I never think you split up teams who are in the Finals or right there unless they're clearly in the decline or are some kind of cancer. Now getting rid of Spo is a given; I'd at LEAST give another coach (not Riley) a crack at this.

The Thunder aren't going anywhere, even if they can't re-sign Ibaka that Harden/Westbrook/Durant trio is going to be running the league.

If the Heat lose this game tonight, they have to explore trading Wade. If Kareem can be traded, Wade can be traded.
