I've never been more confident about a defensive CFB prospect than I am on KHALIL MACK in years

He looks like a monster on these clips :wow:

Mack (6-foot-3, 248 pounds) set an NCAA career record with 16 forced fumbles and is tied for first in NCAA history with 75 tackles for loss :damn: with former Western Michigan defensive end Jason Babin, who started for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season. Mack also had 28.5 career sacks. On "The Dan Patrick Show" earlier this month, (daniel) Jeremiah called Mack the most sure thing in the draft. "He is a big-time guy. He can rush the passer, he can cover, he can do everything," Jeremiah said

I didn't even know about those records

I don't doubt that he'll be a force.

Fluid, quick change of direction, build, hands for battle, explosive, versatile, can catch reliably, flexible when dipping, can bend, etc.

However, I'll still take Clowney. Dude can nearly do the same and is 3 inches taller and 30 lbs. heavier.

Solid consolation picks this draft:
If you don't get Clowney, there's Mack.
If you don't get Barr, there's Beasley.

I'm sold on him too. If my Buccaneers were to draft anything other than WR with the 7th pick, I was hoping we snatched up Khalil Mack to pair with Lavonte David:ohlawd:

Khalil Mack is a monster

Im sure Lovie can figure out a way to have him, David, and Mason on the field. :whew:

shyt would cause havoc. I still think we need a real DE though

What you think about us signing Jared Allen as a FA and drafting Khalil Mack?:youngsabo:

Jared Allen, Gerald McCoy, Akeem Spence, Adrian Clayborn on the D-Line?

Khalil Mack, Mason Foster, Lavonte David as our 'Backers?

Darrelle Revis, Jonathan Banks, Mark Barron, and Dashon Goldson as our Secondary?

Could work if Allen has anything left in the tank. Can pull Foster off the field in Nickel situations if Mack can pick up the coverages. QBs would have nightmares because we could be flexible with our blitz packages.

Mayock agrees with you @Ed MOTHERfukkING G

Appearing on Minneapolis radio station KFAN on Friday morning, Mayock said he would take Buffalo outside linebacker Khalil Mack first overall.

"He's explosive off the edge, he's tough, he's twitchy, he's got a little edge about him," Mayock said of Mack.

"You talk about a kid like [Jadeveon] Clowney, who's just got superhuman abilities, versus this kid, and if I had a choice between the two, I think I'm taking Mack," Mayock said.

Couple reason why this is interesting.

1. It was said on a Minneapolis radio station. Not a buffalo radio station trying to hype up the local guy.

2. And most revealing about this statement, is when it was said. A day after the first day of the combine. Which means Mayock is relaying what a lot of other personal man from around the league are saying.

Good call Gizzle. B/c of this thread I watched a lot of film on dude(youtube clips), dude seems legit.

He played in a trash conference, but he has all of the tape to believe he can make the jump... I think he will be the next Von Miller, minus the drugs (allegedly)

RE the Bolded: That is the hang up for me. But you watch him and like you say he makes you believe he can make the jump. What a tricky pick man..

Of course the ATL
Falcons have a shot.. but it's clown , Matthews or Robinson first

I agree even tho I'd be :snoop: if we took The Clown. I don't want me star defensive end taking plays off b/c he was blowing loud with Future in the VIP or blowin bands on Maliah at DOA. The Clown is a small town country kid who's about to get paid stupid racks...he's gonna lose his mind in Atlanta
