But now, it doesn't make sense for him not to fight Brook

He claimed before, Brook wasn't big enough, and that if he won the world title than maybe he'd "consider" it.

Now? He claims Brook is off the table because he wants PBF AND PAC.

I don't get this guy, that sense of entitlement he's carried with him throughout his career has been his Achilles heel. Always worried about guys who have already proven themselves instead of him taking the chance to prove himself. With the way he talks, you'd think he hadn't be floored so many times in his career,

I think he's ducking Brook for two reasons. A loss to Brook would ruin him because all of that "I'm the most popular fighter in the UK" shyt (which is delusional anyway) would be out of the window.
Secondly, I think he's really designed his career trajectory around Floyd. Way too much and a loss to Brook would give Kell Floyd and he can't take that.

Winning that silver medal was one of the worst things to happen to him. He put himself on a pedestal and it gave him a sense of entitlement without doing anything on the pro level.

So much talent, just too much talk, and entitlement and not enough action and backing up what he claims.

Expect Khan to duck Brook until the end of the day.

But the funniest thing about this whole situation is that the quickest route for amir to get the fight against floyd would be to fight brook and beat him convincingly

he'd have a legit belt, he'd have beaten a top 10 division contender and he would've proven he can promote, generate and be involved in huge fights (because this fight could potentially match the froch groves rematch spectacle, i mean that's what eddie hearns is aiming for)

I extremely dislike Khan, but I'm gonna be fair to him for a minute. I can't really say he's ducking, the guy just has his eyes on a bigger prize (even though he doesn't deserve it, but that's another story altogether).

It's really no different than when Bradley didn't fight Khan because he wanted to fight Pacquiao. And he ended up getting the fight. If Khan ends up fighting Floyd or Manny, then we can't say shyt.

I think Khan isn't in any rush to fight Brook, because he knows that fight isn't going anywhere, and will still be on the table even if he doesn't get a big fight or gets it and loses.

Let's keep it real, Kell is doing the same thing. Why won't he fight Keith Thurman? He called out an old Marquez who's literally on his last leg, and bum ass Brandon Rios though. Brook is the one that really wants the Khan fight. And for obvious reasons. No chance he gets a shot at Floyd or Manny, so Khan is the biggest fight he can get. And he's trying to strike now while the iron is hot, because he probably thinks that if he fights a guy like Thurman and loses, Khan won't fight him.

What does all those fighters have in common. There all smaller attractions than MAY and they would all beat Amir. Kell would be the only one not to knock him out.

Amir knows he cant beat any top tier guy at 140 or 147, so he is just hoping to get a lucky shot at the champ. Build for what? How long before khan gets that chin tapped again? Floyd and Pac are not fighting him. No belt, not P4P and is probably not even the biggest star at 147 in the UK Right now. Why wait?
