It's cool man. But to be honest, you won't make progress with those beats. It's cool to add to the repitiore, but you bettre get to work on the drops and switch ups. That lo-fi vinyl ish ain't gonna work bruh. No shade.
Word of advice, if an artist can't perform on it and rock a crowd, you ain't going nowhere in 2014. Check out flylo (flying lotus). Cat makes a similar type of beats, but his drops are crazy.
