I’ve always wondered how can someone in LA be a clippers fan instead of a Laker fan. Can one of you brehs explain this to me?

Lakers
Clippers tickets were so much cheaper, a person might’ve hated Kobe, they might be from San Diego or transplants, they hate Laker fans, or the Clippers had a player they liked :manny: .

I like clowning the Clippers as much as anyone. But I can’t deny their fan base has grown a lot. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s and being an adult in the 00’s I met more Blazer, GS, Suns, and Kings fans than I did the Clippers

I would like to know why someone signed off on LA having TWO basketball teams.

Seems almost as dumb as a city having two football teams :jbhmm:

Enough people to support them
I mean LA even has two hockey teams, pretty much. Two baseball, basketball, football and hockey teams.

New York pretty much has/had that too with the Devils playing in East Rutherford for so long.
