No stopping cultures from still speaking whatever garbled language is their native tongue just make English the 1st language

It's true but none of the existing languages are appropriate, they came about through a very messy evolutionary type process. What is required is a designed, precise language that removes ambiguity in communication therefore getting rid of one of our biggest problems, breakdown in communication.
You sound like a card carrying member of several all white organizations.
English is difficult to learn because there are so many exceptions to every rule that it makes no sense to having the rules in the first place sometimes. The thread starter fails to understand how cultures influencing eachother is an ongoing process. What goes up must come down. The norm today wasnt the same yesterday and wont be the same tomorrow so it (the process) doesnt stop here.
Centuries ago world culture was dominated by Egyptian, the Roman and Ottoman Empires. Then it was French, Spanish and Portuguese.
With your logic the world should have changed languages each time.
British culture has been predominant over the last 2 centuries. American culture is a spinoff of British culture.
What I'm trying to say is the world is what it is now but 2 centuries from now you can bet it will be different.
