I never thought it was fair to include him in rookie discussions, he's not a true rookie. Yea he didnt play last year but a year of NBA training and coaching gives him a huge advantage over the true rookies imo
That might turn out to be a huge mistake in a few years. He should be playing with AD

You are going to continue h the horrible replies huh? NOBODY was saying this shyt when Blake Griffin was playing in his second season and won the award.
I didn't even like it then...imo ROY should be for that years draft class...and there is nothing unreasonable about that

You are a terrible poster, stop quoting me with your bsI didn't even like it then...imo ROY should be for that years draft class...and there is nothing unreasonable about that
BG stole that award from John Wall. I remember that cuz im Wizards fan when was the last time a Wizard player won an award for anything?
His rookie season was last year he just happened to be hurt and you can't discount the growth a player has just by being in a NBA locker room. He didn't touch the court but this is his 2nd year in the league...He's a rookie, he didn't even get to start doing a lot of court work until the season was almost over last year. Dude didn't play a single solitary NBA minute last year, so he's a rookie.
As for Nerlens he's getting a lot better on offense, Mirotic, Nerlens and Payton have been playing really well.
Jrue Holiday is a good player, so I can understand why the Pelicans would trade an injured Noel for him. The problem with the Pelicans is that they have too many guards who dominate the ball. That team needs a new coach and shift some of that guard heavy roster they have out.It just never made sense to me. You ask 30 teams "Would you like your cornerstones to be two athletic 7 footers who'll swat everything their way?" 29 of them say yes and the other is Pelicans.
Wiggins has this wrapped up (I'll never judge ROY on wins because a lot are just thrown into bad situations at the start of their career), but I really like Noel. I'd only pick the Greek Freak and Gobert over him in his draft class.
