its reached the point where i can say these movies have been horrendous and they are trying way to much on the suspension of belief

theres barely any replay value of the past 2 films.. i was one of the fans of the series
until all the over the top action scenes overstayed its welcome

i think the scene where Vin Diesel and Jason Statham car crash into each other head on collision at 150+ speeds and come out like and continue fighting normally finally got me

They got us believing the Furious crew can take on the Avengers with how ridiculous its gotten

no 7 was really mindblowing. i took my girl to see it and was lowkey embarrassed at the dialogue. the coli had hyped it up to hell so i was taken aback. i should have known its just mindless fodder at this point. they need to sell the rights to marvel

They literally did, as they handed over the reigns to F. Gary Gray After an Asian turned it to a billion dollar franchise and handed it over to one of his brothers. Eastwood's role no one knows about. He's an agent working for Kurt Russell's organization, that's all we know. Scott Eastwood is a nobody. Whether he transitions into a more prominent role later on is up in the air. The GOT dude is just one of Charlize's henchman. We're talking about starring roles, here. Statham being confirmed alive at the end of 7 was one of the re-shoots they did after Paul Walker's death.

Fast 5 was the pinnacle of the series imo (the one where they went to Brazil). It has the perfect mixed of realism and over-the-top crazy shyt. And those 2 Dominican guys.
