They've always been over-the-top and unrealistic.

They're meant to be fun popcorn flicks. Often times the dramatic scenes and bad dialogue are unintentionally hilarious.

I didn't expect it to be so successful. I saw the original and I thought it was just like Point Break but not nearly as good. But people really like it and the movies end up making crazy amounts of money.

I saw the 1st one in the theatre and I remember Ja Rule was in the 2nd one but that was as far as I got.
