Its time to settle this once and for all, GOKU or VEGETA?

Even though Vegeta is not my favorite character (Future Trunks is), I have to pick Vegeta. Goku reminds me too much of John Cena and I hate his guts. Vegeta had some of the best character development in the series and I tend to root for the underdog a lot.

vegeta was better at the slick talk though. those small windows where vegeta was strongest he really let dudes know it.

but it was usually followed shortly after by him getting his ass whooped and goku coming to the rescue

before nikkas come in here talking about vegeta was a jobber, let me point out these facts. every victory the z fighters had came with a major vegeta assist.

it was vegeta who gave him the pre game pep talk that helped him beat freiza.

when goku was getting his as kicked by that fat faq android it was vegeta who had to come save that nikka life.

when gohan was fighting cell, whining talking about he couldn't do it, it was vegeta who came with the distraction that allowed gohan to finish cell.


when goku needed to gather energy for that spirit bomb it was vegeta who got his ass kicked to distract majin buu.

I'm going with the prince of all saiyans.

Goku and honestly it's NEVER been close between them

Vegeta FAILED at damn near everything he attempted. He couldn't beat Goku in the Saiyan Saga so he transformed into the Ape state.

He got OWNED by Frieza.

He got OWNED by Cell

He got OWNED by Goku, who basically fought him out of pity. Holding back his true power to humor him.

He got OWNED by Buu. His Kamikaze attack was worthless.

He got OWNED by Kid Buu. At this point even HE had to admit that Goku was better than him.



The point where everyone should've stopped comparing Vegeta as an actual "rival" of Goku's was the MOMENT that Goku's PRETEEN CHILD surpassed him in strength...


Vegeta has been one big walking embarrassment since almost the moment he was introduced.

Who was the better character basically.

when i was a kid i leaned towards vegata cuz he was more of a badass.

but now it's definitely goku. his selflessness and compassion is what gives him his strength. far more compelling to me. vegeta is only driven by his own selfish desires.
