I've said it plenty of times, it's completely fine to have differing viewpoints and even if you have a conversation with another poster where you both share your points it's not about winning/losing, agreeing or compromising. At best you can hope to walk away like "I understand why he feels the way he/she does".

Sometimes a poster is being 100% serious about a topic and another poster comments then they go back and forth a few times and one dissolves into straight trolling. Man up, have the convo, express your points, hear out the other side then it's done.

Sometimes it ain't even the trolling, 2 different posters can go back and forth being serious about the topic then it dissolves into insults and threats then they abandon the topic and it's just insults and threats.

I think bi monthly audio/video chats would eliminate a lot of that, but it's not beneath some members to troll live " you ugly! You ugly, hahaha! What's wrong with your hairline/ teeth?"
