I think he has to win another one to be tier one. tier one is an elite class. He's not there, yet. When have you known an elite coach with a team that was heralded as a FF lock (at least) lose their opening game?

Izzo is a GOAT,tier 1.

That nikka takes teams with mostly subpar cats and Always turn em into contenders.

hes right tho. some of the more revered teams dont hang banners. unlv 91, recent UK teams, fab five etc. duke has gotten its shyt pushed in by lehigh, mercer, vcu before they were VCU etc. always in the mix tho, with much better talent than izzo gets. college tourney is a complete crapshoot, and izzo has made runs with good and not so good teams, hes as good as it gets
