God willing i will have a silver version of this car by next year! Exact wheels, mods and everything

Ya my '00 TL seein its last days. Strongly considering the 4th gen as the next whip. Crazy how small changes can alter its look completely.

Seen a black '10 TL at the mall, tech package, burgundy leather interior, wheels and mods similar to vid... that shyt was :whew2:. Almost copped one that weekend.

It's amazing how much better it looks if the "beak" is painted the same color

Yup. Love my TL but its looking extra average right now. The interior is so awesome, but the pedestrian outside does it no justice. I'll likley be going with 19" Star Voss wheels, that Airtex suspension package, and possibly an body kit.

I just traded in my '06 RL for a '12 TL FWD Advanced Package and I am definitely happy with it. The RL was dope, don't get me wrong, but around that 150K mark and starting to dump money into repairs, was time for something new.

I would have preferred the AWD model on the TL, but there were none around me in NH, and fukk going to Mass to pay 2k+ in taxes. The '12 TL is a nice ride brehs. :manny:

I'm looking into an '05-'08 RL. What were some of the problem you experienced later in your ownership? was the AWD still good? transmission?

If there were a common problem point when it comes to most Hondas and Acura is the automatic transmission, issues of any, start sprinting up around 100k, but of course most are avoidable with strict adherence to regular maintenance. AC compressor is common also depending on where you live.

Overall, the car was solid. No engine, trans, drivetrain, awd issues at all.

I was in an 06,150k miles and in the last year of payments (bought in 2011) making repairs like the alternator, rear wheel bearing, motor mounts, serpentine belt. Nothing major at all, but 400-500 here and there on top of payments it was time to get out of it.

I highly recommend the RL to anyone. It was a great car, no other ride like it. Just look for one either very well maintained or on the lower side of miles. You'll be happy with that ride for years to come.

I know about the transmission issues. Those were very common Hondas and Acuras from the 90s and early 2000s. I avoid those models like the plague. I had 99 civic we bought brand new that went to shyt at around 100k. Transmission issues were hell. My sister owned a 2002 civic that had similar issues. My mom has a 99 accord as a daily, same issue.
