Fighting games take a lot from movies. Why don't they just do the reverse?
Take Bloodsport's script. Ryu is the main. Ken is the funny side character. Ryu has to beat Ken to make it to the semi-finals. Big showdown with old rival Sagat then move on to Bison who has been touted as the big bad and Akuma comes in throws his ass out and they have a huge battle. Total fight time for Ryu in the movie until Akuma is 24:59 since you had to have an under 25 min game to face him.
Special moves are just standard for the fighters. No hiding that they have some hidden chi just put that shyt out there. Sagat is annoying AF with that Tiger fireball bullshyt throughout the movie. Just wrecking Dan and Sakura with Tiger BS. Make it a huge payoff when Ryu shuts him up.
