but it sounds like they screwed snipes though

Just shows you that the Hollywood system will let you get successful if you stick to the script, but once you go against the grain and against them they will fade you out even when your contributions were just as much important to the character as the director/writer in getting the films off the ground.

Not really. Snipes for whatever reason was acting like a fukking lunatic the whole filming of the movie. Several people have spoke out on this.

Fred.

Of course he was acting like a Lunatic. They stripped all of Snipes production and editing duties. And they made Blade Trinity more about the nightstalkers than the main fukken character in the movie. I'd be salty too. Wesley had every right to be mad. he was a large part of the success of the first 2 movies.

i think i believe wesley's side of the story.

they clearly were going the wrong direction artistically and tried to blame shyt on their flagship character who carried both of the first films

Even though Blade Tragedy had the biggest budget out of all the movies the look of the film looked like a TV movie. Once the movie didn't do well and people knew what was up they try to blame Snipes for the downfall on why the movie didn't perform well. It's been documented on the last two movies that he methods acts during the production for these movies but it wasn't a problem before until he went against the grain then got faded out the scenario by Studio and the other producers. You have to remember people only saw Blade Tragedy on the strength of the first 2 movies which is why it got an increase budget and had the widest theater release.

I don't know how interested or involved I am in the struggles of Wesley fukking Snipes in Holllywood, whether it was warranted or not, it was unprofessional and unbecoming behavior of anyone….and it was hilarious. The guy has a history of being eccentric, just read the GQ story from 2010 about his disastrous tax filings that got him the three years….Dude was a really talented actor, but it's clear he had a major ego complex….and it's also funny we have begin discussing the artistic direction of Blade 3, and method acting for 'Blade' :dead:
