Gohan was a real one before becoming a bytch in Super
You know, for all the shyt Vegeta gave him in the Buu Saga, he had a point. That's why Goku didn't say much when Vegeta was going in on him when they were in Babidi's ship. Gohan never really liked being a fighter (Chi Chi definitely has to be a factor in this), but he still should've kept up his training in those 7 years. Especially when you consider Goku was out of the picture and had no plans to return, he should've understood that it falls on him to stay sharp. Maybe he expected Vegeta to handle any potential threats, but that's still careless. It wouldn't have been too big of a deal if Gohan's strength just plateau'd in that time, but he got weaker. You could tell that Goku agreed with Vegeta, even though he didn't chime in.
And then when Gohan DID get serious, he ended up getting way too cocky and made things worse when he could've ended things quickly. Gotta be a Saiyan thing, because Goku is similar, and Vegeta as well but to a lesser degree. Which is why I'm glad that before the Tournament of Power happened and Gohan wanted to sharpen himself again, Piccolo pointed it out to him that he gets arrogant and lets his guard down. DBS Gohan nearly killing himself by going Super Saiyan because of his lack of training was depressing, and he should've never let himself get that out of shape. But I think being in the ToP woke him up for real, because he did reasonably well in the Moro arc (if memory serves).
Won't be better than Mugen Train
I'm still confused as to why they made that a movie, because that's manga canon shyt.
That's not even a prequel, that was the next arc. Still have to watch it myself, but I already finished the series, so I wasn't in a rush. I'm wondering how they're going to approach S2 since they did Mugen Train.
