I lived in Chicago 2012-2014. I grew up in New England, and I thought I could handle the cold well. Nope, it hit like -14 one day and I had to walk from the Metra to my office building. I had on a ski mask, super hardcore gloves, a scarf, a big winter coat, and earmuffs. I thought I was gonna freeze to death (for real). :merchant:

Also, prior to Chicago, I never really knew why revolving doors existed. They seemed like just a pain in the ass, nonsense shyt, for decoration. Well, they do serve a purpose and they are definitely needed
they stop the cold air from blowing in the building. This is super important when it’s below zero and windy

I always said it’s better to be cold than hot. I went to school in Phoenix (Tempe) and it hit like 117 or some shyt. While it sucked (a lot), -14 with Chicago wind is definitely worse. I realized I could stay outside with water and occasional shade in Phoenix and not die. In Chicago, I had on all types of warm clothes, and I still felt that if I stayed outside for more than 30 minutes I could potentially die. shyt’s real :merchant:

This. Use some of that homeless begging $ and cop a one way greyhound ticket and don’t even look back.

breh u stupid...homeless people got family/friends too...not to mention needing to be comfortable in their environment/surroundings..its hard enough moving and adjusting to a new city, imagine doing that shyt while homeless
