They should have kept Braun and Brock separate and did that match at wrestle mania

Well, no....

...if you have Braun be the guy to beat Lesnar, you set yourself up to have Reigns be the guy to beat the guy that beat Lesnar.

With Reigns beating Lesnar, you get to build Braun as the guy to beat the guy that beat Brock.

Braun is as over as he's ever been, and after beating Brock, Reigns will be nuclear with heat. Roman/Braun becomes money on money after that.
