Most contemporary depictions of Rome that I've seen typically portrays it as diverse.

I haven't seen an "all white" Rome unless it was in an older movie.

The second picture isn't from Rome though, it's from Egypt.

I pay them no mind. If you watch documentaries on these things (and listen directly to the historians) or read books on these topics, its right there in plain black & white english. The average racist cac on Reddit does neither, and is speaking out of their ass. They’ll say with a straight face that Africans didn’t cross into Europe meanwhile historians say Egypt was the breadbasket of Rome and that boats were constantly crossing the Mediterranean delivering grain and various other items to the various Roman provinces. That’s a lot of ships and a lot of merchants coming back and forth. And that’s just one aspect. There would’ve been other reasons for various groups to be traveling throughout the region.
