I agree that a black Superman changes the entire character unless you do some color blind situation where race just isn't addressed.

A black Superman would never be the "Truth, Justice & The American Way" type of character.

Black superman in DC would be Icon all things considered...:ld:

There are already two fairly well known black Supermen in the multiverse.

What's the point of having a Black character if you're going to write them the same as a white character?

A Black Superman shouldn't be treated the same by the writer, and shouldn't be treated the same in-universe

And I'm worried with Black Superman they're going to do little corny nods towards racism, like Falcon did in the Falcon and Winter Soldier

White culture has subtle influences on a characters attitude imo

And if Superman was Black he wouldn't be loved

I agree to extent but there is a black Superman who also happened to be the president of the untied states…
