nikka, that basketball to James face is still one of the most :laff: shyt ever

I don't get why players don't do that more often. Is that considered illegal? I think it would make for a nice and unstoppable signature move. Can't keep your eyes on the ball and your man on D at the same time.

Fake the pass with your eyes. Swoooooooosh.

Put a hand up like they do in tennis when the ball hits the net and drops over like 'oh, this is so unfortunate'.

Now it's five on four and you can take advantage.

Someone tell Draymond to work on this move in the off-season.:ehh:

They gonna ignore this post :mjlol:
Not necessarily fair imo, remember people picked the Cavs to beat the KD Warriors that first year. But we all knew what would happen. Nets just have too much firepower for the Bucks, I'm not gonna say it'll be easy for them but they SHOULD win. Nets can't ride that underdog wave:dead:

I'm more worried about Lopez and Middleton lighting it up than Giannis honestly. The formula for containing Giannis is already established, form a fukking wall. Jrue's impact will be interesting to follow too. Hope Jeff Green doesn't come back too soon.

So many people here picking the Bucks to win, as are people in the media.

So whether Brooklyn wins or loses, ima need ya'll to shut the fukk up about them being an insurmountable, game-breaking juggernaut who can't be touched in any way shape or form.

Keep it consistent.
:yeshrug: I voted Bucks in 7, but if I was putting down real money I’d put it on the Nets. I think most cats here feel similar

:wow: I just want to believe

I honestly don't know how to feel. Milwaukee is terrifying. The Nets fundamentally just don't match up well with Giannis. They don't have the personnel to hold him, and while they don't have Kyrie or Harden's name (nor game), Holiday and Middleton are both really good players. I genuinely feel they can keep up with Brooklyn's scoring. In fact, I think in some instances they'll be able to score more easily due to Giannis's physicality and Brooklyn being primarily jump shooters. Kyrie is obviously the better player, but Jrue being a lock down defender is a big deal. He's the more versatile player IMO even if he can't explode (pause) like Kyrie can offensively.

I think if you eliminate Brooklyn's star power and just look at both team's overall talent level, you're crazy if you feel Brooklyn bout to run these dudes over. I feel this is the only team left in the playoffs who can legit beat them in a 7 game series. Brooklyn is gonna have to either outscore them dramatically and/or step up in a major way defensively.

In summary, Milwaukee is the more versatile, cohesive, significantly taller, stronger, more well rounded team, and their best player exposes Brooklyn's #1 weakness. Brooklyn's only advantage IMO is their team is offensively more talented, so the big 3 better be every bit as dominant as advertised and show some major pride on the defensive end, cuz Giannis/Middleton/Holiday ain't shyt to sneeze at and they can generate mad points too. Joe Harris better be out there getting his white Reggie Miller on, too.

Ain't even mention Brook Lopez either.

If this series goes 7, my anxiety bout to be bugging out. I'll say Brooklyn in 6 and pray it's true.

I'm more worried about Lopez and Middleton lighting it up than Giannis honestly. The formula for containing Giannis is already established, form a fukking wall. Jrue's impact will be interesting to follow too. Hope Jeff Green doesn't come back too soon.

Giannis' versatility has improved IMO. His jumper has been better. He's been more confident in taking those. Even if he's bricking, Brooklyn doesn't have the personnel to form said wall IMO. KD is their best defender, and you're probably heavier than he is.

all season nets have had a habit of playing with their food…they played down to their competition in many games this year…saw it in the boston series too…anxious to see how we look at damn near full strength against a highly competitive team in the playoffs
