Brooklyn role players are absolutely ass. That shyt was basically Kevin Durant (after unleashing five gates last game), Landry Shamet, and a one-legged Harden vs. the Bucks
Durant ain't gonna have the chakra left for a Game 7
No one was saying that when Blake/Joe/Mike were hitting 11-22 threes in Game 1. The Nets still have pieces, they just have a poorly constructed team. Similar to Miami in 2011, in fact the Nets have MUCH better role players than that Miami team did, it's just that they now have injuries which exposes the holes in the team that much more. For #4-#7 these guys aren't bad:
Joe Harris averaged 14-4-2 on 51/48/78 shooting this year and is one of the best shooters in the league.
Jeff Green averaged 11/3/4 on 49/41/78 shooting this year and has been an above-average player his whole career.
Blake Griffin averaged 10/5/2 on 49/38/78 shooting this year and is still an above-average player when engaged even at this age.
Laundry Shamet averaged 9-2-2 on 41/39/85 shooting this year and is a decent piece for a 7th/8th man.
And Claxton, Brown, DeAndre, Johnson aren't terrible players to have at the end of your bench.
Before the injuries the Nets had a decently filled-out roster. The issues are that their stars were far too weighted towards offense rather than defense, their chemistry was shyt all year due to guys coming in and out, and obviously the injuries to Kyrie/Harden have hit them in the core.
