Was there some news story about Batfleck's suit that instigated this post? Because I don't really get it. Ben Affleck is a freaking giant compared to all the past Batmen (and most other actors hired to play super-heroes to be honest).
Nah. It's every time they reboot, they always drastically revamp the suit and the look to change the perception. I always looked at batman as a dark inspector gadget. And I don't consider batman a super hero. I think the character gets by on perception and nostalgia. It's like the first fight with Bane summed up what batman really it. Wayne is the the wizard of oz but in actuality he's just a magician using smoke and mirrors.

When I saw him request a suit where he can actually turn his neck in the third installment of the recent trilogy, they finally incorporated his great prep time skills into a movie. Nolan da gawd!
