The crazy thing to me isn’t that some of them thought it was an incomplete (I think it was a fumble), but that they considered it 100% indisputably an incomplete. They did everything right on how they called the play, then blew it in the review.

I just didnt see any evidence to overturn the fumble IMO so the ruling should've stand instead of confirmed if they were unsure that he fumbled or not.

I think targeting needs to change. Have 2 varieties

1. Non egregious contact above the shoulder that the defender could not stop - 15 yard automatic first down

2. Egregious contact above the shoulder pad - 15 yards and a ejection upon confirmation

- Inexplicably stopping the tempo that got you the big lead
- Not going for two (ultimately didn't matter, but if the RB was tackled short of the endzone they win by a FG)
- Not going for the killl.... a screen pass to Mack? Not Hill who has good COD or someone fast like Olave? Or actually throw past the sticks?

Fields almost saved him. Day shouldn't have even had OSU in that situation.

Definitely he was part of it. Dropped tds, Lawerence feet, Travis in the receiving game were part of it too. Proctor at safety inexperience cost us too. Wasn’t just one thing.

It was a lot of things, but most of all, Clemson made plays when they needed to on offense and defense. Hats off to them
