Regarding Pau, we don't talk about FA, trades or drafts outside office, a source mentioned a Sac deal, there was nothing presented to them that they felt was worth it, short or long term
Benefit of not giving up a free agent is cap room, which they consider an asset

Feeling that core had 1 more year, bringing in a new coach wasn't a miscalculation
Chemistry wasn't there
Looking for more skilled basketball players, more up and down, that's the way the league is going. We didn't play like that. Doesn't think it's a personnel issue.
Biggest disappointment was that team lacked collective fight
Need more guys with fight

Says we saw glimpses with Doug and Niko, ups and downs expected with young players
When asked if they're okay with going forward with Jimmy as the face of the franchise, says they have to look at everything, but Jimmy had a great year
Pax says Jimmy/Rose didn't always mesh on the court, but can be said for a lot of the players, need a tougher mindset as a basketball team
When you're talking too much about leadership, you're probably not getting enough from the team leaders, our guys don't need to talk about it, just show it
Weren't good defensively, especially individually, begins with the guards, especially the PG in terms of setting the tone, and Rose needs to do better at that
