Signed with the Bucs and did exactly what he came to do. I certainly didn’t expect that signing to go as perfectly as it did. A lot of people clowned the entire thing, assuming it would take time to gel and by the time that happened he’d be retiring.

Daps to the GOAT. I hope he follows the Kobe playbook and doesn’t become some valid talking head on ESPN. Your words matter, limit them.
I fukking bet he would've ran it back one last year if he knew the bucs could keep the core together and AB wouldn't of ducked the fukk out like a child

This the issue if you retire when you still look good, nikkas gonna refuse to accept that you really done. Even getting hit less, I think the ones Brady taking aggravating him more than ever. I heard a podcast and he has maaad capital expended into diversifying business interests.

I think Brady is such a football purist, that it just ain’t worth him playing football if he ain’t 100% into it. And I think he would’ve left a few seasons ago if it wasn’t for the motivation of Belichick

In my opinion he probably planned for this to be his last season from the beginning, or at least leaned towards it. Between the TB12 line, crypto, and the Man in the Arena special the writing was on the wall IMO.

I feel like he made those comments about being able to play a few more seasons as a red herring to avoid being distracted by a retirement tour.

If Brady took the hits from defenses that Montana took, his career would have been over in 2005.

:coffee:

About time vegetarian Jay Schroeder got the hell out the league.

don't forget brady has good 25lb on Montana. In fact, Brady and Dan Marino are same exact size

and nobody gets rid of the ball like Brady. Nobody. There is a reason why Brady only got sacked 21 times last year. Jameis got sacked 47 times the year before. This is not a coincidence. Brady was only sacked 21 times in 2007. Cassel in 08 got sacked 47 times. Same exact oline. If oline is bad Brady will adjust and throw the ball under 2 seconds.

80s defensive players were much smaller and slower than today's players too.
