there was never a plan, you go all in for a super bowl if they were smart they would had kept Winston on a cheap deal until TB retire now they most likely going to suck for the next few years... TB is going to be the rams future after the next five years

I agree that he should be able to get the word out his own way. But breh, he was 22 seasons deep. He knows how the media game works. What reporter is going to get this type of news, and NOT report it?

Really the waste of time came with spending the last two days having everyone around him vehemently deny that anything was set, when the Instagram post lined up with all of the reporting on him retiring, even after he pushed back on it. It would've been easier to just use the reporting to his favor, and make it part of the announcement.
