Tom bradys own company TB12 tweeted the retirement announcement. Bucs just don't want to accept it.

:lolbron: I can see why. NFC South is up for grabs. Wouldn't be surprised if Arians said he was going on IR for the season to rest up, and then said, "Nah, I'm good."... unless they get Rodgers, or Russell Wilson; anybody established.

Wonder if the NFL has any struggles finding a suitable replacement like the NBA did with Michael Jordan for a bit

I imagine Mahomes just gets the sole main event push

League is in really, really, really good hands at QB...

In the NFC you still, at the moment, have Rodgers and Wilson, going into Y18 and Y11 respectively, and you have young gunners like Kyler (Y4), Padford (upcoming Y14), Dak (Y7)...

In the AFC you have Allen (Y5), Mac (Y2), Burrow (upcoming Y3), Lamar (Y5), Baker (Y5), Carr (Y9), Herbert (Y3), Mahomes (upcoming Y6)...

NFL has plenty of quarterback talent to carry itself forward...

What we will see though, is the void in a league that hasn't been without Brady since the 90s. Millions of NFL heads have no knowledge of The League without him, his retirement is the ultimate end of an era. He played more years than anyone and has all the records that really matter. QB greatness will forever be attached to his standard of excellence until someone surpasses it---->and someone will, if we live long enough and the NFL exists long enough. No one is "The GOAT" forever...

Congratulations to the greatest quarterback ever, a brilliant football player. Muhfukkas got some big shoes to fill chasing his ghost...

Smart move. With the AB fiasco, and everybody coming back and they still lose. It was only going downhill from there. We can debate whether he's the goat in fb or all sports. But I will say this say this. He's the only player where I became numb to his comebacks. Even in his last game, there was no shock Rams blew that lead. It's Tom Brady. Now, I'm glad he's gone. Just wish Mahomes had one more shot.
