It's not about getting booed or cheered. It's about getting a reaction- Charlotte

that started with John Cena as an excuse for ppl booing his corniness and being over pushed, then it kicked in full overdrive with Roman Reigns.

It's such a shame wrestling has come to this

The thing is they use to be so ahead of the curve and not afraid to switch gears. I think going public is probably one of the reasons why they can't always go with the quick switch because they have to answer to board and ultimately monitor the company's business performance.

This is the epitome of going into business for yourself, and the bookers promote it. Wrestling is not meant to be an ambiguous venture. There are supposed to be clear good guys, and clear bad guys. You listen to fan reactions to know which role a talent should be portraying at the time, and good bookers will be so into the viewers' pulse that they can do well timed turns that reflect the fans perception of that talent.

So when Charlotte says she wasn't getting a reaction and she need titles to build herself up, that is her AND THE BOOKERS openly admitting that even though she wasn't ready to be a face, they will try to push it on us anyways. They did eventually do it right by turning her heel and that is how she got her momentum, but that small window at the beginning of those NXT debut runs did waste Sasha's huge support and momentum.

The way she talked...it was the same way Cripple H talked when someone brought up Rock padding him up in the main event. He said " it was necessary". Lol. Like fans no selling him initially is to be swept under the carpet. What a odd mentality

Sasha should have had a legit run as champion but Charlotte said something I actually agree with. "At the time Sasha didn't need the title, I needed it to make me." :yeshrug:It became evident once Charlotte was out of the title scene that she was pretty irrelevant. :yeshrug:

Still tho they've done this to Sasha twice now, first with Charlotte, then Alexa.

What did he say?

It was an kayfabe comment but on Monday he dissed Finn by saying he isn't over and that "this isn't Japan, this is the WWE, where you have to bust your ass each and every day." Implies that someone in Creative doesn't really respect Japan despite the fact that it's harder for a foreigner like Finn to get over.

After that Roman comment on racism, Miz’s comment on Japan and now this comment by Charlotte, I realize that homegrown WWE stars actually buy into all the BS that Vince and Co. spew backstage.

What did Miz say about Japan?

Nvm I see the post above, yikes

Nah but I notice people who've only worked for WWE and fans who only watch WWE saying similar stuff for example this notion that everything outside of WWE is just flippy matches. I don't expect Miz to prop Japan up but I'm just pointing out the company lines spewed by people who've never worked in the wrestling business outside the umbrella.
