During her explanation for why she had to be pushed over Sasha in 2025 when though fans were chanting for Sasha in damn near every female match after she debuted..she says that stupid dumb ass line that Cena made famous. It don' matter if you get cheered or booed..as long as it's a reaction. Well Sasha got a mega reaction back then..why wasn't she rewarded? Ryder got a mega reaction in 2011...no reward..they pushed who they wanted. The Roman thread talking about the Brock WM 31 match..said that same crazy shyt. As long as you get a reaction. LOL.

Well what about Rusev being more over than Roman, Cena, and AJ at the Royal Rumble? Is he not a "goof human being" because he's fukking his little blonde wife in that $500,000 house in Nashville? Why try to sell this bullshyt when there is no basis to truth to it? Why is Braun not good enough for the main event but the most rejected, pushed star is in a 4th str8 match closer at WM?

Point is..all these company favorites...Charlotte and Roman...and in case you forgot..John cena. At Royal Rumble 2014, fans WERE ULTRA SICK OF Cena vs Blandy part 1000, so they chanted We Want Divas and Daniel Bryan nonstop..Cena went on the Austin podcast and acted like the fans should of got behind someone strong if they wanted them in his spot. He's political and full of bullshyt..out of all his phony interviews, he exposed his true self preserving and political arm wrangling for all to hear on the Austin podcast. It's so phony and white privileged..how could anyone not laugh listening to it??

New Day..ultra over? Just hosts for the WM Show. Miz makes Cena look ordinary on the mic? Just a jobber to push Nikki and Cena's wack ass Republican social media gimmick wedding. Sasha gets hot? "Its not fair that fans love her for having the 5 stsr match with Bayley so I need the belt a huge PPV winning streak"

I mean..holy shyt...the justifications..lol

In what fantasy land was Charlotte ever getting more of a reaction than Sasha :heh:

:hhh: been pushing the 'Getting a reaction' agenda for a while.
I'm sick of hearing it. We've all heard Austin and Bret say a million times. U gotta be heel or face..Austin kept saying that "razor's edge" term for someone trying to play both sides. Rocky said a match with Roman would depend on what makes sense..does Roman go heel or does Rock go heel? He said that outright a week after the Rumble 2015 fiasco since Roman kept saying he wanted the Rock match.

WWE likes to heavily rely on Wrestling families, so the reaction is true in one aspect, being you get television time but always fall in line with the company when it comes to people they have picked to push to the moon.

I don't get why people don't understand this concept.

It's not your way. It's their way. It's a TV show with writers who have biases...it's not a meritocracy :snoop:
It wasn't like that before. You're a kid...you don' remember it but when Austin got hot, they set it up to have Bret leave for WCW and have Michaels transfer the title to Austin. His merchandise was selling big in 97. It mattered when it drew. Rocky got so hot as heel in 1999 they created Smackdown. Nuff said.

So being popular did matter..It's FILED..ever since they started justifying that heel reaction that Cena got at WM 22, they started at first saying he's the most controversial/polarizing star...then that 'reaction is loud whether you cheer or boo' bullshyt went viral in their terminology.

This is the problem with message boards. :snoop:

You completely insinuate "I'm a kid" without any previous conversation about anything simply because I disagree with you. I'm 31. I've been watching wrestling since probably 1988 when I was 2 with my brother. I've been a wrestling fan (not a stan, not a mark, not a smark) for all of my life...but I've been able to decipher that it's NOT REAL. And as an adult I've taken their mantra "best for business" to mean that they are going to do what they feel is best for their company. Whether you, I, or anyone else agrees or disagrees...oh and btw...they are showing record profits which is why you run a business...so our opinions clearly aren't touching their bottom line.

Back to the subject.

I never once said that "drawing doesn't matter"

I said "they are going to push who they want to push". There is a very clear distinction between those two statements. When it comes to Austin and Rock... perhaps in 1996-1999 the deciding factor for "who they wanted to push" was who could get themselves over organically with the fans.

In 2017 "who they want to push" could be because they want entry into the Indian market - See Jinder Mahal
In 2018 "who they want to push" could be Ronda Rousey because they want mainstream attention and a new TV deal
In regards to Sasha vs. Charlotte "who they want to push" could've been Charlotte because of the connection with Ric Flair, because of her stature, etc. I don't know why, and I don't care why. It is inconsequential to me.

The point is... they are going to push who they want to push. All the time. Just because they pushed SCSA or The Rock "getting over" or "drawing" doesn't mean they need to keep the same benchmark 20 years later.

Well, kiddo..the benchmark today is driving viewers away. So the model that doesn't relate to 20 yrs ago that you defend? It's not cracking. It's stupid and looks completely out of touch. You'll see when that reaction to the main event of WM 34 goes viral.

Cause they stay harping on and on that they listen to the fans.

Family Matters and Happy Days didn't originally plan for Urkel and Fonzie to be stars but they sure did ride the wave.
