Where bro? Only reason why Democrats don't win by landslides in elections is because they have become TOO left leaning. Most people do not like any type of extreme whether it is to the left or the right, and they stick a little closer to the right because staying to the center-right tends to just keep the status quo where it is no movement at all.

Nah you wrong if you look at the last election gerrymandered has done a number on both houses. Also look at the presidential elections republicans have won the popular vote once since 2000.
It's not a left-right thing, it's a race thing. A lot of white voters feel they're losing the country to black and brown people which results in conservative voting.
There are a lot of studies showing this, and Dems moving to the right wouldn't change the situation and would probably just demotivate their own voters.
