I don't own a 3DS and haven't fukked with any Pokemon games past gen 3. I know some people say Pokemon X/Y were bad (possibly the worst in the series). What is it about this new game that has restored people's faith in the series?

I didn't hate the new ones just most don't like that post games are shorter and exp share now shares with all Pokémon instead of 1
And people feel they are a lot more easier

As for the new game most just like Pokémon period so don't matter
There are some new things in it like new forms no gym leaders
New camera angles gameplay some bits different
