Thibs led the Wolves to their only playoff appearance in 17 years when he was there. He was a good coach for them, but a bad president of B-Ball operations. Knicks are 22-10 when Rose plays. Knicks are the best defensive team in the league. Yes, Randle is the best player on the Knicks and his improvement is a huge reason why the Knicks have improved but it's not the only reason and saying he's doing it "by himself" really discredits how good the Knicks are as a team.
